Introducción: La depresión adolescente constituye un problema clínico y psicosocial relevante por su impacto en el desarrollo emocional, académico y familiar. Objetivo: Analizar la evidencia científica disponible sobre la aplicación de la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso en adolescentes con sintomatología depresiva. Método: Se desarrolló una revisión sistemática basada en el método PRISMA, con búsqueda en las bases Web of Science, Scopus, SciELO, Dialnet, Redalyc y Google Académico. Se seleccionaron 26 estudios publicados entre 2022 y julio de 2026. Resultados: La sistematización permitió identificar predominio de la flexibilidad psicológica como mecanismo central, seguido por la aceptación, la defusión cognitiva, la clarificación de valores y la acción comprometida; los formatos digitales y grupales mostraron viabilidad comparable a la intervención presencial. Conclusión: La Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso representa una intervención prometedora para adolescentes con sintomatología depresiva, sustentada en procesos transdiagnósticos verificables.

Introduction: Adolescent depression is a clinically and psychosocially significant problem due to its impact on emotional, academic, and family development. Objective: To analyze the available scientific evidence on the application of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in adolescents with depressive symptoms. Method: A systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines, with searches performed in the Web of Science, Scopus, SciELO, Dialnet, Redalyc, and Google Scholar databases. A total of 26 studies published between 2022 and July 2026 were selected. Results: The synthesis identified psychological flexibility as the predominant central mechanism, followed by acceptance, cognitive defusion, values clarification, and committed action; digital and group-based formats demonstrated feasibility comparable to in-person interventions. Conclusion: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy represents a promising intervention for adolescents with depressive symptoms, supported by verifiable transdiagnostic processes.
